Betula alnoides  Powder Extract: Scientifically, Betula alnoides is a tropical and subtropical hardwood native to Asia. This perennial plant, which belongs to the betulaceae family, is described as being 20-35 meters tall. With a plantation area of more than 50,000 hectares, it has a high ecological and economic value. “Khamlang suea khrong” is the Thai name for the plant, which is commonly found in Thailand’s northern and north-eastern regions. As a tonic, appetite stimulant, and carminative, it is renowned locally as a “elixir.” There are many diseases for which it is believed to be a cure, including severe gas pain, muscle pain, diarrhea, etc.

Methanol and ethanol extracts of this plant possess various biological activities, such as anti-inflammatory , anti-hyperlipidemia, anti-oxidant, anti-microbial, α-glucosidase inhibitory activities, and anti-diabetic effects.
